Get Involved

PrintFriendly has a dedicated group of core contributors, but it is very much a peer-run project. We count on people like you to help us create and maintain a thriving, informative, and dynamic community. We are very proud of what we have been able to accomplish since our 2007 launch and, with the help of our members, we will continue to grow and improve in the years to come. This is where YOU come in!

First, if you have been visiting for a while, but have not yet become a member, we encourage you to join our community.

Once you have become a registered member (or if you already are one), we encourage you to participate in any or all of the following ways:

Contribute to our “Forums — In the “Forums,” you can ask questions about kashrut, prayer, halacha, Jewish identity, Israel, or anything that deals with Jewish observance or identity.  Of course, if you have answers to questions posed by other members of the community, please share them!

Submit articles or book reviews for possible publication on the blog — We invite members to share their conversion stories, write an article for our series about post-conversion Jewish life, write a book or movie review, or propose other subjects that will be of interest to the community.

Add a resource to our “Links” page — Help us build a comprehensive resource guide. Share your favorite podcasts, conversion blogs, Jewish educational websites, and other online assets for Jews by choice.

Share events happening your local Jewish community — Are you involved with or do you know about an exciting or interesting event in your local Jewish community?  Share it with other members using our event announcement feature.

Spread the word — The success of depends on the diversity of our participants.  Help introduce our community to your friends and family by liking us on Facebook, following us on Twitter, and using other social networks.

Listen to our podcast — Listen to our podcast on iTunes.  If you like it, please write a review or recommend the podcast to your rabbi and friends.  If you know of someone who would make a good podcast guest, please suggest his or her name.  Likewise, suggest topics for the podcast round-table discussions or even volunteer to participate in one!
