Judaism By Choice Chanukah Party – December 4th in LA

Rabbi Neal Weinberg of Judaism by Choice sent me an email this week with the following invitation and asked if I could pass it along. Looks like it might be fun, so if you are in LA and and looking to add a little Chanukah Oneg to your life, maybe check it out.

I’m not 100% sure that I can make it but I’d like to if I can.

Judaism by Choice would like to invite the members of Jews by Choice who live in Southern California or want to travel to this region to celebrate Chanukah with our organization. There are many Jews by Choice who do not have Jewish families or communities with whom to celebrate Chanukah. Judaism by Choice is a post-conversion program that provides activities for Jews by Choice and this year we have two Chanukah celebrations you might want to attend.

On Friday night December 3rd there will be a Shabbat Dinner Chanukah party at Temple Beth Am in West Los Angeles beginning at 6:30PM. On Saturday night December 4th there will be a Chanukah party at the Luxe Hotel on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills at 7PM. There will be potato latkes, dreidl games, lighting the Chanukia (menorah), food, and socializing with other Jews by Choice.

For more information go to our website at judaismbychoice.org or call Rabbi Neal Weinberg at 310-772-0626.
